Columbia Valley, Washington

A single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Conner Lee Vineyard, a site widely recognized for its Bordeaux-variety bottlings.

About the vineyard. Conner Lee Vineyard was first planted in 1980 under the guidance of Washington State University viticulturist Dr. Walter Clore. The vineyard is sustainably farmed on fine sandy loam soils — sandy glacial marine sediments left by the Missoula floods of the Pleistocene era — and benefits from a relatively cool, long, even ripening season that lends texture and balance to its wines. The site grows a wide range of varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

In the glass. Black currant and baking spices over a structured, full-bodied frame.

Pairs with: ribeye, lamb chops, braised short ribs, mushroom dishes, aged hard cheeses.

Vintage - 2019
Varietal - Cabernet Sauvignon
Vineyard - Conner Lee Vineyard
AVA - Columbia Valley, Washington
Tasting notes - Black currant, baking spices
